To set the dynamometric pressure of airjet reeds (airflow) we have to intervene on the reed channel surface and through the use of circulating brushes. In this process the higher is the required air pressure, the greater the deterioration of the reed channel surface.
Our special surface treatment HPC “High Polished Channel” done after the airflow setting, makes the reed channel smooth and shiny like it was before the airflow setting and has been mainly appreciated by technical weavers for the production of fabrics such as Kevlar, carbon fiber, glass fiber, airbag, and fire retardants.
